Ice Skating Injury Healed o While Samar was ice skating she fell and really hurt her leg.  She sat on the ice thinking, "How am I going to get up?" She felt as if she couldn't move her leg.  Her leg was not broken, but she could not move withouth excruciating pain and could not sleep that night.  In the morning she was barely able to walk on the painful leg.  Pastor Ziad saw her later that day and prayed healing over her.  That night, she could sleep, and the next morning all of the pain was completely gone.  What could have taken weeks was remedied by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Healing Power Present & Leg Grown Out! o "I hurt my back, and I can't get up... this is going to be a boring visit," Deborah told Tiffany who was visiting Austin, Texas. "Don't worry," Tiffany fired back, "God is going to heal you!"  She prepared, invited a friend to go with her, and then read the Bible to her friend, Deborah.  After speaking of the testimonies of what Christ had done before, Tiffany laid hands on her and the pain started leaving immediately.  She did not have full range of motion, however.  Tiffany brought her legs out and noticed one leg was shorter than the other.  She immediately prayed the way she saw Charles and Francis Hunter pray, and the short leg "grew" out to match the other one!  Deborah got up with full range of motion, touched her toes, and began to dance before the Lord!  She was filled with boldness to share what God had done for her, and began to pray for others.  In fact the whole event radically changed Deborah!  God, you're awesome!

Child Abduction vs Prayer Power o A young lady in our congregation found a quick answer to her prayer the other night. Esthermaria tells the story: I was driving on the San Mateo Bridge Tuesday night October 24th, 2006, heading to a women's Bible study at IOC in San Mateo. I saw an "Amber Alert" notifying the public that there was a child abducted with a detailed description of the vehicle and license plate information. After reading the alert, I was burdened and asked the women at the group to pray for this child. After praying, God put a sense of assurance and peace in my heart. o That night I received a call from my uncle who proceeded to tell me what happened to him that night. To my amazement, he told me that as he was driving home on the Bay Bridge, and the same vehicle that was described on the alert, was driving right in front of him! He couldn't believe it! He said that God gave him the vision to see the truck because usually he cannot see well at night. He called 911 and followed the truck all the way to Oakland. The man was caught and the child was found safe! Praise God! o I told my uncle that we were praying for the child that night. He asked me what time we were praying. I told him 7:30pm. He said, "We caught the guy at 7:45pm." Praise you Jesus! You hear and answer swiftly. o Photo above: The police say that a child was abducted from Oakland around 11:30 am on Tuesday. Trevillon Ward Junior has been found safe 8:20 pm that evening.

Healing Room Opens at IOC o Celebrating the National Day of Healing our healing team opened up a Healing Room on October 28, 2006.  Rob Roberts travelled for an hour with his wife, son, and a back injury.  He would only leave with two of those three.  A few weeks earlier he had increased the injury to his back by lifting something.  The Healing Team ministered the power of Christ, and his back pain was gone. He started to bend over and do certain movements that he could not do earlier before the prayer. Jesus! You are awsome.  Thank you Father for your love.

Thanksgiving Miracle o A few days before our Thanksgiving dinner, Em Rushdi took her car to get fixed at the shop, and noticed that Cesar, her mechanic, was having problems with his knees. Seeing it as an opportunity for him to be healed she invited him to our Thanksgiving dinner to receive prayer. Cesar came with his wife and Em Rushdi kept asking Pastor Z. Samuel to pray for him. Later in the evening we asked people to come forward for prayer, and Ceasar came forward. After prayer, the pain left his knee, and he could bend his knees in ways he couldn't before! Cesar could not stop sharing of how thankful he was for his helaing and the presence of God he could feel on his body. It was Em Rushdi's faith and the prayers of the saints that allowed the miraculous power of Christ to flow. Thank you Heavenly Father for a Thanksgiving miracle!

All I Want for Christmas is a Miracle! Agnus is from Iraq. Her back and feet hurt so bad, that she wouldn't be able to go places but rather prefer to stay home. Neither could she sleep during the long hours of the night. She went in for an assesment at the hospital and the doctor said she would need a shot in the back to take the pain.  When she asked him about the duration that the pain would be gone for, he responded, "Maybe two days, maybe two weeks, maybe two months, maybe two years."  "You've been a doctor 25 years and you can't tell me how long the pain is going to be gone for?!", she said, "Then I don't want a shot!"  Agnes wasn't warming up to the idea of going under the knife either, though the doctor recommended it.  p The pain was increasing and she could not attend church on Sundays. Christmas week Agnus called Najat crying in pain, asking for prayer. Najat prayer with her over the phone and Agnus cried out, "Jesus you came to die for me, and I am so grateful, but could you give me a gift for Christmas?"  "I don't want a house or a car."  "All I want is the pain in my back and my feet to go."  Stella came home soon afterward and said, "Mom, you are walking straight again!"  Later when Ps. Ziad and Najat visited to follow up, she had no pain- and still doesn't.  The miracle gift was given!  Thanks Jesus!

Healing leads to Salvation o Esthermaria reconnected with an old friend, and gave her a visit in November 2006.  As she came to visit her friend one night she found that her friend's mother suffered from a pain in her back.  At the end of the evening Esthermarie was tired and was about to leave when she was prompted by the Lord to ask her friend's mother if she would like a prayer for her back.  After she prayed for the mom she asked her to bend down and touch her toes as an act of faith... she did! God answered the prayer. Through tears the mom expressed her joy of moving in ways she hadn't in a long time!  That night the mother and her daughter (Esthermarie's friend) promptly prayed with Esthermarie and gave both their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. They were both immediatley baptized in the Holy Spirit too with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  Now Esther is discipiling them through her friendship.  God You're good!

The Golden Kidney o Taghreed suffered with kidney dialysis for almost eight years.  Her only family prospect for a kidney transplant backed out at the last minute as she received a prophecy a night before the operation that such thing will happen. She was disappointed, confused and sad. During the eight years of her suffering she did not give up hope that God will hear her cry.  During those years she received comforting prophecy that God would provide her with a golden kidney after a blood surgery that she would undergo.  She held on to that word not knowing when and where would this take place. IOC Church prayed and fasted for her. Prayers were being lifted up every time the church prayed for the sick. The manifestation came in August of 2006 when one day her husband was searching the internet for new kidneys. He stumbled upon a new medical discovery where a kidney patients had to undergo a blood operation to lower the antibodies in the blood so that kidneys transplant could be successful. He signed her up as one of the 20 volunteers. She went to Los Angeles to participate in a cutting edge surgery.  She beat the odds and had a successful surgery and out of the twenty patients eleven were successful. She was one of them. Two weeks later she received a telephone call because they found a match for her.  It was the kidney of a healthy 18 year old.  The doctor said he had never seen such a perfect match.  He said, "It is as if you now have a golden kidney!"
